Behavioral observation of pets and strays during lockdown and unlock period due to pandemic COVID-19
COVID-2019 Pandemic situation restricted the mobility of the entire world for a substantial period of time. It severely hampered not only the economy but also education across the globe. All the educational institutes of University of Mumbai plunged towards a novel mode of e-learning which invited new challenges for students. Current research work enquires about the online learning experience of undergraduate students (of VPM’s B.N. Bandodkar College of Science, Thane, India) who are undergoing online education during COVID lockdown period. This research paper presents extensive statistical analysis of responses obtained through a well structured online questionnaire. It not only discusses the problems faced by students but also suggests few strategies to meet the requirement of e-education as a whole.

Impact of COVID 19 pandemic and lockdown on sleep
India has been greatly affected due to the Corona virus disease since January 2020.We aimed to assess the sleeping pattern of our students, faculties, colleagues, friends and relatives during the outbreak, and to explore the various factors which influenced the patterns. Using a web-based survey we collected data from 135 self-selected people with generalized information of medications, use of gadgets before sleep, anxiety, difficulties observed for acquiring sleep, change in sleeping hours.

COVID-19 prediction in India using polynomial regression techniques in R
The Covid-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2). The disease was identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. As of 16th October 2020, more than 73,72,394 cases have been confirmed with more than 1,12,219 deaths attributed to Covid-19. The rate at which the infection is spreading in India is alarming. This research aims to help in the study of Covid-19 cases in the country by predicting the number of daily infections, recoveries and deaths in the country with the help of polynomial regression technique in R software.

Contribution of women’s group from Biwandi (Dist. Thane) in operating community kitchens and providing free meals to stranded migrant workforce during COVID-19 lockdown
The exceptional pandemic situation and lockdown brought about by COVID-19 is unprecedented and has affected mankind in multiple ways. The global lockdown gave rise to many unique situations and challenges which had to be handled locally. One such challenge was feeding the huge stranded jobless and helpless migrant workforce. Bhiwandi, in western India with its traditional power looms and allied units as well as a logistics hub has been home to a very large migrant population hailing from various parts of India, especially from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. The sudden lockdown rendered this huge work force, most of them daily wage earners, jobless and with no means to feed themselves. The self inspired efforts of local women’s groups which came forward and set up community kitchens on charitable funding for charitable causes to offer free meals to the needy migrants, an exercise which continued for almost five months are laudable. This communication deals with the contribution of three such women’s groups, two of which are student’s groups, from Bhiwandi city in providing sustenance to the huge migrant work force till they could return back to their home towns.
