Activities: Department of Business Law

2012-2013

The aim of the Department of Business Law is to create awareness amongst students about law and legal activities addition to its regular syllabus. To achieve the same Department organized Group Discussion on topics like Child Labour, Female Foticide, Divorce Laws and increasing rate of Divorce, Whether Death Sentence should be banned?, A Day without mobile etc.
In collaboration with the Students’ Forum the Department participatedin the awareness compaign against ‘Use of plastic Flags’ during national festivals and thus to respect the flag and  maintain healthy environment.
Asst. Prof Pradnya Rajebahadur presented a papertitled, ‘Role of Judiciary in Achieving Sustainable Development-An analytical overview at national seminar held at Thakur College, Kandivali. She also presented a paper titled, Impact of Develpoment on Environment: Role of Law to protect Forest Dwellers, at International Conference held by Joshi-Bedekar College, Thane.
