Activities (year 2010-11):

The English Literary Association's inaugral function was held on 27th July 2010. Dr. Kisan Pawar of M.D. College, Parel was the chief guest and he spoke on "How to write scripts for films". Keeping up with the yesteryears, the wallpaper "Fragrance" was released on this occasion, which is a kaleidoscope of the creative and artistic talents of students of literature. The movie, 'Romeo and Juliet' was screened on 15th july, 2010 followed by a discussion. A syllabus - oriented paper presentation for TYBA students was held on 12th January 2011. Inter - class Poetry Recition, Essay Writing and Hand Writing competition were also held for literature students. The language Laboratory has been uniquely used for the development of the students. Guest lectures by Dr. Bijoy Samal, HoD of Kirti College and Prof. Shashikant Mhalunkar of B.N.N. College were arrenged for the TYBA Students. The preliminary and viva-voce examination for TYBA students were conducted in the month of March, 2011.
