Activities (year 2013-14):

The department organised a paper presentation competition for students of TYBA English on 14th December, 2013 to encourage them in their studies and to develop presentation skills. The Charlie Chaplin classic " Modern Times " was screened for English Literature students on 5th February, 2014. The movie evoked the spirit of Modernist Literature amongst the students. Prof. Manoj Patharkar, Prof. Madhavi Arekar and Dr. Suja Abraham completed their Refresher Courses in November and December 2013. Prof. Praful Bhosale completed his orientation course in august 2013. The Head, prof. P.T. Kharate was awarded the UGC Teacher Fellowship under the Faculty Development Programme.
