2010-2011

The Department of History organised following activities during the academic year (2010-2011)

• On 29th September 2010,   film “ Satranj Ke Khiladi” was screened .It is based on the revolt of 1857 and directed by Satyajit Ray.
• On 1st October 2010,  film  “ Junoon” was screened  for TYBA
• On 20th Jan 2011,  film “Gandhi “ was screened for TYBA
• Dr.(Mrs)Indrani Roy Presented a paper on “Elmina Castle-A world Heritage” in International seminar on Heritage tourism: Prospects and Challenges organised by ICLES Motilal Jhunjhunjwala college of Arts ,Science and Commerce on 1st and 2nd Sep.2010.
• She presented another Paper on” Religion of Asante Tribe of Ghana” at Afro-Asian Philosophy Conference 2010 organised by Department of Philosophy of Mumbai University, from 20th to 23rd Oct 2010.
