2006-2007

• 26th July-Mahakavi Kalidas Din was celeberated. Sanskrit Literary Association was named as Sanskrit Samvardini Mandal. Chief Guest- Dr. Vijay Bedekar shared his valuable toughts on development of Sanskrit Language.

• 14th Augest- Sanskrit Din was celeberated, with organization of  Sanskrit poster competition. Topics given for Competition were-

Junior college: Prominance of Sanskrit poetes.
Degree college: The use of Sanskrit in Modern sciences.
Judges – Dr. Gauri Mahulikar.
                Prof. Nilima Kadhe.

• 17th Sept.- Sanskrit Essay competition was held.

          Subject: My favorite poet  

• 21st Sept- Visit to Prachya Vidya Parishad , Naupada.

• 2nd to 4th Nov.- A 3-day workshop for school teachers on revised syllabus for 9th standard.

• 15th Nov. - Visit to Old and New Book Depot, Mumbai.

• 1st Dec.- Geeta Jayanti was celebrated with Chanting the entire Bhagvatgeeta.

             Philosophy department also attended the programme.

• 19th Jan- Prof. Mrunalini Kulkarni, Lecturer, Jhunjhunwala College, also woking as a Moderator, gave guidance to the students of 12th Std.

• 29th Jan.- Attended a talk on uni-code for Vedic Sanskrit by Dr. R.K. Joshi from CDAC, Pune.

• 5th Feb.- Organised wokshop  on paper writing skills for T.Y.B.A students of Mumbai-Ratnagiri.
