"नको, बुवा, या कवितेचा अर्थ तू आपल्या शिक्षकांनाच विचार," नारायण सुर्वे म्हणाले. "पण ही कविता तुम्ही शिकविली तर’

‘अरे, ही कविता मी शिकविली तर अर्थ चुकेल अन्‌ शून्य मार्क मिळतील तुला," नारायण सुर्वे त्याला समाजावित म्हणाले!
