EpMBA / EpMBA Pharma weekend course is a value added course
designed to meet the needs of working executives in the Pharmaceutical
and allied industry. The course is spread over two years divided
into four semesters. Each semester has five courses and 600 class
contact hours that are equally spread over four semesters. The course
provides an opportunity to working executives to undergo management
training and education. The exposure is dynamic and diversified.
It includes learning of a wide variety of courses in functional
areas of management as well as various aspects of the management
process. State-of-the-art courses like supply chain and logistics
management, intellectual property management, creativity and innovation
find a place in the syllabus. In addition, with a view to provide
the participants a holistic approach to management, there is a course
on business policy which deals with a wide variety of issues which
managers confront in business. Another novel course titled 'Project'
provides the participants with an opportunity to explore some aspect
of the pharma industry for in-depth research study. Emphasis will
be placed on the pharma & allied industry and the scope for
application of management tools and techniques in the pharma business
environment. Participants will be provided with an in-depth knowledge
in all courses. The learning process will be interactive in nature
and will provide an opportunity to students to share their experiences
of managing the pharma business environment. Live case studies from
pharma business environment and other industries where required,
will enable participants to get practical and lateral insights into
pharma management. The course is designed to provide the participants
and faculty an opportunity to share learning experience which should
be mutually rewarding to both the parties.
