M. J. Kolet felicitated
Lt.(Dr.)
Moses J. Kolet, Reader in Botany, NCC Officer and a popular teacher at
VPM’s B N Bandodkar College of Science, Thane was felicitated by the
“Shailee” Eve’s Association for research contribution and doctorate
in the application of mycology in rural biotechnology.
Dr.(Mrs.) Joyce Shankaran, Chief Secretary, Maharashtra State
Finance Corporation and ex-collector of Thane district presented the award
to Dr. Kolet at a function held in the Gate of Heaven, Jewish Synagogue,
Thane on 13th June, 2004.
Dr. M J Kolet has recently improved his qualification and acquired
his doctorate under the guidance of Dr. Ravindra G. Bagool, Chairman,
Board of Studies in Botany, University of Mumbai and the team has proudly
continued their research work.
The
function was well attended by personalities like Mrs. Rachel Gadkar,
Popular writer of children’s literature and short stories; Mr. I
Solomon, Retd. ACP from Crime Branch (CID, Mumbai), Mumbai Police and
recipient of President’s Medal for Gallantry; Mr. A J Gadkar, Retd.
Admin. Officer, Mumbai Police and Mr. Ezra Moses, Hon. Secretary of Thane
Synagogue figured in the list of dignitaries. |
