SCHOLAR'S ACADEMY FUNCTIONS - 24/11/2006

On behalf of Scholar's Academy and the College, a talk of Mr.Ravindra Manjarekar was arranged on Friday, the 24th November 2006, at 11.15 a.m.

Members of the Scholar's Academy, Student's Council, other students of Junior and Senior College, and a good number of Staff members attended the talk.

Mr.Ravindra Manjarekar was one of the bright students of Joshi-Bedekar College who joined Journalism after his graduation. At present he is working as a Principal Correspondent in the Loksatta.

He spoke on how he made his career in Journalism. The talk was divided into the following parts :

1) How he made his Career ?
2) Does and don'ts of Journalism.
3) Types of Journalism.
4) Information about Journalism, if one wanted to join it.

The talk was followed by question-answer sessions and discussions.

Students were delighted with this interesting information and happy to meet a successful past student of the College.
