Mr. Shreyas R. Zingre has secured 1^st rank throughout Maharashtra in Electrical Engineering Group in MSBTE-SUMMER 2004 Examinations. He has scored 83.3 % in Final Year of Electrical Power System. Hardworking, talented, sincere Shreyas has maintained his 1^st rank in his class for all the three years.

Maharashtra State Board Of Technical Education, Mumbai has felicitated merit holder’s achievement at the hands of Mr. Anis Ahamad, honorable minister of Higher Technical Education , Maharashtra State in presence of Mr. Sancheti-MLA Malkapur, Director of DTE Prof. Pasalkar, Prof. Tale- Director of MSBTE , Chief Finance President of Reliance Industries Mr. Chaini, Prof. G.B. Dhanokar- Secretary MSBTE .

The function was arranged at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan Sabhagruha , Near Mantralaya, Mumbai on 06^th July 2004 at 3.00 pm.

Shreyas was felicitated with a Gold Medal, a memento & cash prize of Rs. 5000/-.

Mr. D. G. Joshi, Member of Management, Vidya Prasarak Mandal Thane, Former Principal Prof. S. S. Mujumdar, Principal Prof. D. K. Nayak, Head of Electrical Power System Dept. Mrs. N. V. Vader & Staff members of Electrical Power System Dept. were invited by MSBTE for felicitation function of their student.

While expressing his views, Shreyas has given the credit of his success to Parents, Former Principal, Principal, HOD & Teachers.

As a student, Shreyas always stuck to his commitment & that may be the reason, he has managed to top all the branches in the first, second & final year in the institute.

He has represented state level seminar at ‘Lakshami Narayan Agrawal Institute’, Dhamangaon & ‘Government Polytechnic’,Pune on “Static Starting Device For Gas Turbine Plant.” Which was appreciated by all invitees. He has also taken initiation to share the information about ‘Major Power Failure In Maharashtra’ with junior through seminar. In all he was always appreciated for hard working & sincerity.

He has been also felicitated at VPM’s Polytechnic, Thane on 6^th July 2004 at the hands of Dr. V. V. Bedekar, Chairman Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Thane in presence of former Principal S. S. Mujumdar as special guest & parents. Topper of various branches of the institute were also felicitated. On this occasion members of Vidya Prasarak Mandal , Principal, HOD, Teachers & staff, invites congratulated merit holder & toppers. Also Principal D. K. Nayak has been congratulated by Principals of sister concerned institutes & other polytechnics.
