Recently the Polytechnic has accreditation by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi for four diploma programmes namely Electrical Power System, Chemical Engg., Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation. Electrical Power System Dept. is producing skilled technicians appreciated by industries. The Dept. has 5 labs with all facilities for doing any practical as per MSBTE curriculum. |

The
working models of various projects like Jib Crane, Automatic Signaling of
Traction System, Electrical Installation
of Bhatan Tunnel, Control Panel, Overhead Crane, Lift, Water Level
Controller etc.. prepared by students of final year encourages all
students for developing their skills & knowledge. The
Dept. deputes the students for participating in State level Seminar,
Project Exhibition. The students of EPS Dept. has won 2nd prize
at State level Seminar Competition in 2003-04. Final year students of EPS
Dept. has won the prizes for Regional Project Exhibition in 2000-2001
& 2001-2002. Mr.
Shreyas R. Zingre of Electrical
Power System Dept. has secured 83.3 % marks in final year MSBTE-SUMMER
2004 Examination & achieved 1st Rank in Electrical
Engineering in Maharashtra State. Also he is merit holder of MSBTE SUMMER
2004 Examinations. Mr. Shreyas Zingre is a talented students observed by the staff members. He has maintained his 1st rank in the class for all three years. He is dynamic student & has actively participated in all the progammes in the polytechnic. His presence in the class was always cherish for all students & staff also. Steady, Applications of intellectuals skills, lateral thinking, hard working are his few outstanding qualities. He has also participated in State Level Seminar Competition at Dhamangaon. There he delivered seminar on Static Starting Device for Gas Turbine Plant. He has also given his full co-operation to the EPS Dept. during the Accreditation work. He was also president for ISTE student chapter. |
