Abstract
The mangrove ecosystem provides an excellent habitat for birds. To understand the association between mangroves and birds, avifauna from the mangroves and surrounding areas of Sakhartar creek, Ratnagiri was studied from January to December 2019. The species diversity and density of birds in and around mangroves, mudflats, and riverside of Sakhartar creek (17.038646� N, 73.3009225� E ) was studied at regular intervals. Exposed mudflats at ebb tide, served as ideal feeding grounds for winter visitors. Members of families Ardeidae, Charadriidae, Phalacrocoracidae, and Scolopacidae showed dominance over other families. The study shows good biodiversity and abundance of avifauna in the estuarine region.

Abstract
ndia is a country of agriculture. Farming has a significant contribution in Indian economy. Due to diverse climatic conditions in India, predicting crop yields is a major challenge with available data. This study investigates the impact of climate variables viz., temperature, rainfall, CO2 emissions, and extreme weather events on crop yields in India. In this study used statistical tools such as correlation and ANOVA and data analyses using Python. It is observed that moderate temperature increases can enhance yields, but extreme weather events and CO2 emission reduce productivity. Weak correlations suggest higher emissions negatively affect yields due to climatic stress. Key recommendations emphasize sustainable farming practices and regional adaptive strategies to mitigate impacts. Findings aim to inform policies for resilient agricultural systems amidst climate change.

Abstract
Abstract Water is uniquely vulnerable to pollution. Known as a �universal solvent,� water is able to dissolve more substances than any other liquid on earth. Living world depends on water in a variety of ways. This study works towards to evaluate the water quality of the water bodies (lakes, wetlands, tanks, and ponds) and identify the most influential parameters affecting them, and pinpoint polluted hotspots in India. Utilizing the dataset from the Central board pollution control spanning 2018-2022. Multiple linear regression model is applied to analyse the relationship between water quality index with various parameter including DO, BOD, pH etc. It is observe that fitted model give better perform R� value is closure to 1. Regression model achieved high accuracy with R� value ranging from 0.675 to 0.93. With DO, pH and conductivity emerging as significance predictor across all water body type. The predictive model could be integrated into real time monitoring system device to provide continuous update on water quality. Farmer can use predictive model to evaluate the safety of using tank or pond water for irrigation reducing crop damage and soil contamination. This study offers valuable insights for strengthening waste water management strategies and highlight the urgent need for targeted interventions in identified pollution hotspots.

Abstract
Tr, online teaching and conduct of online examinations were the new order of the day. In places where educational campuses opened, introduction of blended hybrid online and offline teaching strategies brought about changes in the scenario. These sudden changes, coupled with economic and other constraints caused by the pandemic-related lockdown affected the mental and physical health and emotional wellbeing of the student community which is discussed in the communication. The survey of under-graduate students and their parents revealed overt changes in physical and mental health and behavioral patterns in children which, if things continued in the present manner, would be difficult to control in future in the interest of mankind. Some solutions and mitigation measures to address the problems faced by students; generated with the help of professional expertise to alleviate the lockdown related issues and problems and for better resilience, are dealt with in the communication.

campus is an island campus situated in the Chendani area of Thane city in Maharashtra, India, alongside the Thane creek. The campus is laden with plants, many of which have importance as contributors in traditional systems of healing. The rich assemblage of flora on the campus coupled by the general lack of information and knowledge on their attributes and applications as lants used in the traditional systems of healing and the Unani system of medicine inspired the current investigation. This communication is part of an ongoing study for documenting plants of medicinal value found on the Jnanadweep educational campus.
Abstract
COVID-2019 Pandemic situation restricted the mobility of the entire world for a substantial period of time. It severely hampered not only the economy but also education across the globe. All the educational institutes of University of Mumbai plunged towards a novel mode of e-learning which invited new challenges for students. Current research work enquires about the online learning experience of undergraduate students (of VPM’s B.N. Bandodkar College of Science, Thane, India) who are undergoing online education during COVID lockdown period. This research paper presents extensive statistical analysis of responses obtained through a well structured online questionnaire. It not only discusses the problems faced by students but also suggests few strategies to meet the requirement of e-education as a whole.

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic, although has wide industrial application, is resistant to dilute acids, alcohols, aldehydes, and ketones. It is thus a
leading cause of pollution and causes an imbalance in the ecosystem. Some species of insects and weevils, by virtue of their unique gut-microbiota, are known to degrade complex polymers including LDPE. Recent studies have also shed light on the ability of‘yet uncultured bacteria’ in biodegradation of complex polymers. Present study aimed at isolation of probable novel bacteria from the gut of Sitophilus weevil, able to degrade LDPE, using special cultivation media.
