EVALUATION

Evaluation

The Programmes of law colleges are evaluated by the University through its assessment programme. This institution is no exception. All the first year, second year and third year examinations are conducted by the college for and on behalf of the University. Since 2018 April May exams the first year and second year exams are evaluated by the college as per university diktat. The final year exams are conducted by the university and evaluated by the university through the computerised on screen marking.
"Professional Standard" expectations of the evaluators at the University examinations are made clear to the students. They are discouraged from taking to buzzar notes.

Practical Training

The practical training programmes are internal and conducted and evaluated by the College. The college adheres strictly to the BCI norms. It is pertinent to note that the new practical training papers and syllabus prescribed by BCI in 2008 have not been implemented by the University. We communicate to the students at the commencement of every year the practical training evaluation methods and marks distribution. Examination dates are announced well in advance to enable working students to schedule their programme and avail leave.
Exams are conducted in the months of February-March and for A.T.K.T. students in August-September. Written examination, project submission, client counseling, group discussion, drafting exercises, moot courts and viva are the evaluation methods.
