Sri Prakash Educational Institutions 

Sri Prakash Educational Institutions manages schools and colleges in Visakhapatnam, Tuni and Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. AIER has close links with this organizations in the planning of teacher training, science exhibitions and enrichment courses. On the recommendation of AIER Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Visakhapatnam has been participating in Joint School Science Exhibition (JSSE) held in Hong Kong for the last six years continuously. Moreover, it has been organising International Children Science and Mathematics Festival with the help from Dr. Sudhakar Agarkar, Dean AIER, Thane.  

North Maharashtra University at Jalgaon

North Maharashtra University at Jalgaon approached AIER to start a course on History of Indian Mathematics for its post graduate students. Accordingly, Dr. Sudhakar Agarkar along with other experts is engaged in preparing appropriate syllabus. As an introduction Dr, Agarkar conducted two workshops on Bhaskaracharya’s Lilavati for the students enrolled in the School of Mathematical Sciences of the university in September 2017.  

Ben Gurion University, Israel

Dr. Sudhakar Agarkar, Dean AIER has been collaborating with Prof. Miriam Amit of Ben Gurion University in Israel to conduct studies in ethnomathematics. Findings of the study conducted in the tribal communities living in the Sahyadri ranges of the state of Maharashtra was presented in Thirteenth International Congress on Mathematical Education (ICME-13) held in Hamburg, Germany in July 2016.

China Association of Science and Technology (CAST), Beijing, China

AIER has established close links with China Association of Science and Technology (CAST) in Beijing. It has hosted the visits of members from CAST as well as SAST (Shanghai Association of Science and Technology). On the invitation of CAST, AIER has been taking students from Thane to participate in CASTIC (China adolescent Science and Technology Innovation Contest) held in different parts of China since 2007. It is also going to participate a new activity of CAST entitled Belt and Roads planned to develop innovativeness among school children.

Danish Young Science Factory, Copenhagen, Denmark

AIER has close links with Danish Young Scientists Factory. On the invitation of his organization it has been sending teams from B. N. Bandodkar College of Science to participate in Unge forsekere (Danish Young Scientist Fair) held in Copenhagen.

Fundacao Libarato, Novo Hamburgo, Brazil

AIER has set up links with Fundacao Liberato, a Polytechnic in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. On their invitation is has sent teams to participate in Mostratec 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018. It is planned to make it an annual activity.

Young Scientists Foundation Luxembourg

Contacts have been developed with the Yung Scientists Foundation in Luxembourg. On their invitation AIER has started sending team to participate in Expo Sciences since March 2018. This activity will continue strengthening the bonds between two collaborating organizations.

Federal Universidad Ouro Preto

Through ICME-13 contact have been developed with academicians engaged in ethnomathematical studies. There are two experts working in this area at the Federal Universidad Ouro Preto in Brazil. On their invitation Dr. Sudhakar Agarkar visited the university in October 2018. He was invited to give a lecture on “Tradition of Mathematics in India” in the university. It evoked a lot of interest among the academicians in the department of mathematics.
