RULES FOR STUDENTS

  1. Be punctual, report to school on time. Students must be present in the school premises at 07:00 am sharp. They are expected to be in their respective classes before the prayer. If any student gets 3 remarks in a month, they will have to wait in the library for half an hour as instructed by the teacher. Note will be given in the calendar for the same.
  2. No student will be excused from physical education without a doctor’s certificate.
  3. Students are refrained from damaging any form of school property. The school reserves the right to be compensated by the students for such damages.
  4. Students are advised not to felicitate the Dean, the Head Mistress, teachers or others connected with the school by bringing any gift or flowers on teacher’s day or even on other days.
  5. Politeness, courtesy, neatness, cleanliness and punctuality are expected from every student all the time.
  6. Students are supposed to enter or leave the classroom only after attaining teacher’s permission.
  7. Students are refrained from littering and are expected to keep the class rooms / school premises clean.
  8. Any misbehaviour or violation of school discipline will be dealt by the disciplinary committee and corrective action will be taken. In extreme cases parents will be called to discuss the child’s behaviour and may lead to suspension from the school for 3 days.
  9. Students are expected to be in single unbroken line while moving along the corridors maintaining silence.
  10. The manner of movement out of the class for other activities should be quiet and orderly at all times.
  11. No student should not leave the class during teaching hours due to any reason.
  12. Giving due respect to all religions, students are forbidden to wear God’s thread or any gold item (Ring, Chain, Bracelet, pendant, nose ring, etc.) neither bring any mobile, pen drive or any CD’s, tuition books, note books, digest & notes or cash with them more than Rs. 100/- or else it will be confiscated.
  13. Students are strictly warned that before Dhuliwandan they should not throw water and colours on each other in the school premises or on the road outside. When the students attend the school on the next day of Ganapati festival, Ganapati Visarjan, dhuliwandan colours should not be prominently seen on the face or hands otherwise he / She will be asked to sit in the library for the whole day.
  14. The medium of instruction is English and students are expected to communicate in English at all times.
  15. If the student requires attestation on any form where photo is necessary the latest photograph (passport size) of the student in school uniform with grey background only will be considered.
  16. Students are expected to leave the school premises immediately after school duties / responsibilities are completed. School is not responsible for any issues occuring outside the school premises.
  17. Boys should trim their hair at regular intervals. Spikes, capcut, other types of fashionable haircuts and ear rings are restricted for boys. Girls are restricted from wearing fancy ear rings. Girls should see that their hair is tied properly. No fashionable haircut, flicks or puffs will be allowed. If the hair is upto the ear length then they should use brown coloured hair band. If the hair is longer than the ear length they are supposed to make two plaits or tie two pony tails with centre parting using brown coloured ribbons. Plastic hair bands are not allowed.
  18. Girls are not permitted to apply mehendi, tattoo & nail polish.
  19. Students are expected to keep their nails trimmed and clean.
  20. Parents are advised to send healthy homemade meals to their ward which has to be consumed in their respective classrooms during recess only.
SUGGESTING IDEAS AND STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND SCHOOL DISCIPLINE PRACTICES WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

LEAVE ABSENCE

  1. Parents are requested to take the sanction for leave for major illness. Medical certificate to be produced along with the parent’s leave application if the request is for more than 3 days. Leave application or medical certificate bearing any strikes or overwriting on the dates will not be considered valid. Students should produce fitness certificate when joining the school after ailment is cured.
  2. If a ward remains absent from school without prior notification for more than a month, School reserves the right to strike off their names from the attendance register.
  3. Process of applying for leave is for parents / guardians by providing application well in advance notifying the reason and the date for absence. It will be appreciated if the notification is given before 09:30 am which can be in person, a note or a telephone call.
  4. Students coming late or remaining absent must bring written application or justification for the record keeping. Students coming late after half an hour will be allowed to attend the school but will be marked absent in the attendance register.
  5. Leave of absence will be granted to the students going for inter school competition only after justification by the Dean / HM.
  6. Attendance for all official School functions considering 15th Aug. and 26th Jan. is compulsory. No request for leave on those days will be entertained.
  7. Make every reasonable effort to ensure maximum attendance for which an award is initiated for the ward holding the best attendance record.

Students should be respectful and courteous to school staff (teaching and non-teaching) and fellow students.
  1. Students are expected to be respectful and courteous to school staff (teaching and non-teaching) and fellow students at all times.
  2. Students are advised to maintain a good posture whenever they sit, stand or walk.
  3. Students are expected to be honest, cheerful, well tempered and behave with dignity.
  4. Students are expected to use appropriate language. Students are expected to be patient listeners without interrupting the speaker.
  5. They should learn to look upon the school as an extension of their home and do their best to cherish and preserve in school a spirit of love and happy living.
  6. Be proactive in promoting and working towards making school a supportive, safe, welcoming place for all students.
