The early childhood years are the first foundation years for the child’s overall development. Skills are developed in 5 main areas Cognitive, Social and Emotional, Speech and Language, Fine motor and Gross motor.
A new approach of Self learning through Play-way Method has been successfully implemented in Pre-primary i.e. Nursery to Sr. KG. The emphasis is on stress free learning rather than reading and learning by rote. Our curriculum is age appropriate with no prescribed textbooks. Through this play-way method children learn various concepts of Maths, Science, Language and Environment studies. Reading and Writing is done stepwise and hence children don’t feel the burden. We have a team of well experienced loving and caring teachers who recognize the strengths and uniqueness of each child.
Various skills are developed through different activities held throughout the year.
- Language Development :
Rhymes, Stories, Vocabulary, Sight reading, Picture talk, Phonics etc.
- Cognitive Develoment :
Various Maths skills like Classification, Comparison, Estimation, Shapes Measurement, Fractions and various Science experiments etc.
- Gross Motor Development :
Physical activities like Running, Jumping, Climbing, Balancing, Different games, Dumbles, Simple Yogasanas, Equipments, Hurdles etc.
- Fine Motor Development :
Art and Craft activities like Threading, Scribbling, Printing, Colouring, Collage, Different folds, Clay modelling etc.
- Social and Emotional Development :
Freeplay is fun for the child and gives them an opportunity to explore, experiment, solve problems and learn from mistakes. It builds their creativity and imagination.
