Internal Activities

Recitation activity & Elocution Activity

       -Activities are conducted in School to equip students with social skills, moral values and to develop the personality.
Students of std I to IV participated in the following activities.
Recitation Activity (std I and II) -:
Recitation Activity for Std I and II was conducted on 26th “August, 22 during school hours. Participants were free to choose poems of their choice. The activity included recitations of well-loved poems,enacting them with actions.

Elocution Activity. (std III and IV)-:
This activity helps to build listening, speaking and communication of skillsof students and also drivesaway their Stage fear. The topics were mainly related to day to day activities. It was conducted on 26thAugust, 22 in the school.










Dindi 2022-23

       Ashadhi Ekadashi is one of the most importantreligious festivals that is celebrated in Maharashtra. This ceremony was religious celebrated by the students of std.IV. During this day students wore traditional dresses and carried out a ‘Dindi’ procession by singing chanting hymns of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Tukaram to pay their tribute to Lord Vitthal. The students gave a great message during this celebration and that was of the difference between online and offline school.


Drawing Competetion 2022-23

       The students of std.I to IV participated in the Drawing Competition conducted in the memory of Late Madam Roshan Jal Patel on 24th June 2022.


Yoga Day 2022-23

       The International Yoga Day was celebratedby students of Std. IIIand IV to raise the awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice was explained to the students on this day. Asanas like triangle pose, Tadasana, Shavasana, Suryanamaskars were conducted by the guidance of Physical Education teacher.


Marathi Day 2021-22

       Marathi Bhasha Divas was celebrated virtually on Friday, 25th February, 2022 by the students of Std. I to IV.
       The activity began with the short introduction given by Std.I student Mst. Arjun Lele about a well known Marathi poet Shri Vishnu Waman Shirvaadkar (Kusumagraj), his contribution towards the language, Marathi Bhasha Divas is celebrated every year on 27th February on the birthday of Late Shri V. V. Shirvaadkar. The activity included prayer, pledge, some students recited poems songs, narrated stories and importance of the day was expressed too. Values like respecting all the languages is always inculcated with proper understanding through such activities and the same was done during Marathi Day. The activity ended with National Anthem including all five stanzas was sung by the Standard 4 students.

Science Day 2021-22

       This year we celebrated virtual Science day by the students of Std I to IV to commemorate the remarkable discovery of Sir C.V. Raman in the field of light scattering. He was one of the great scientist and his life has been a source of inspiration for many.
       Students enjoyed receiving the information about great scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose. Students enjoyed the Solar system song through which they came to know about different planets.
       Students realised the importance of different inventions which made their life easy and comfortable.

Republic Day 2021-22

         This year 73rd Republic Day was celebrated virtually by the students of Primary section on 26th January’ 22 at 9:30am. It was a fantastic programme.
       The programme began with traditional auspicious flag waving ceremony and singing of National Anthem, followed by the beautiful compering and wonderful activities of the students. The students performed graceful danceand sang patriotic songs which inspired the feeling of pride in our minds. They gave speeches on the National Symbols of India which represented the thoughts, emotions and feeling of our country and its people. Various colourful posters related to INDIA were made and displayed by the students. The students gave respect to the covid warriors in this pandemic.The students thanked them for their tireless efforts for serving frontline during this pendamic.We are so grateful for their support. The students wore tri-colour clothes, which made the whole environment spectacular.
       Indeed, it was a day of joy, love and respect for our country- our motherland India.The students experienced the freedom, peace and unity in diversity of our country.

Math’s day

       National Mathematics was celebrated on 22nd December to honour the famous Indian mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan.        The students of Sou. A. K. Joshi English Medium School from Primary section celebrated Math’s day virtually with great enthusiasm.        Students from Std. I to IV introduced the importance of Math’s in our daily life and also they gave information on Great Indian Mathematician Shrinivasa Ramanujan born, to change the future of Math’s.        Students of Std. I carried out the activity of ‘Fun with shapes’, whereas Students of Std. II formed the different biggest & smallest 3 digit numbers using different number cards.        Std. III students prepared a clock with help of cardboard & numbers. Some clocks were beautifully decorated using their creative ideas & waste materials.        Students of Std. IV made Riddle cards with variety of riddle which can be super or funny brain boosters for the students. In this way, all students celebrated Virtual Math day with great enthusiasm & enjoyed all the activities.

Diwali Celebration

       Virtual Diwali festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness on 21st October 2021 with students of Primary Section.
       Teacher spoke on the significance of celebrating Diwali festival and how it is celebrated. Stories were told related to Diwali. Students sang songs and danced on the song of Diwali.
       Students did many creative activities like making diyas with clay and marble paper, making lantern with craft paper,flower rangoli.This year teacher said students to take a resolution of celebrating Eco friendly Diwali, by not bursting crakers and keeping the environment clean.Students enjoyed the PPT on DOs and Dont's related to Diwali.
       Overall the Diwali festival celebration was a great success.

Independance Day celebration

       This year 75th Independence Day was celebrated virtually by the students of Primary section on 15th August’ 21 at 9 am. It was a fantastic programme, by the students and for the students.
       The programme began with singing of National Anthem. The students did comparing and presented the entire programme. The students performed dance, sang patriotic songs and gave speeches on the National Symbols of India. Various poster were made and displayed by the students. The students gave respect to the covid warriors in this pandemic. The students shared the responsibility of keeping personal cleanliness and also the environment clean. The students wore tri- colour clothes, which made the whole environment spectacular.
       Indeed it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect for our country- our motherland India and also to experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.

Teacher’s Day celebration

       Virtual Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 6th September 2021, by the students of Primary section.
       Few students gave a brief introduction of teacher’s day. Every year 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The students described their teachers in a beautiful manner. They thanked their teachers for taking such wonderful online sessions. One of the student narrated the story of ‘Eklavya’. One of the student dedicated a beautiful song for all the teachers. Few students displayed posters and greeting cards for the teachers. One of the student dedicated her dance performance to the teachers.
       Overall the programme gave a sense of gratitude towards their teachers.

Ganesh Chaturthi celebration

       Virtual Ganesh Chaturthi festival was celebrated by the Primary students on 18 th September 2021.
       The students gave an introduction on festival of Lord Ganesh. Students recited ‘Ganpati Shlok’ and ‘Atharvashirsha’. Students performed a wonderful ‘Aarti’. Few students performed dance to please Lord Ganesh. Students also made idols of Lord Ganesh, using various innovative ideas. Students made lovely posters of Lord Ganesh. Students spoke how to celebrate Ganesh festival in an eco-friendly way.
       Overall the programme was a grand success
