“Research is to see what everybody else has seen and to think what nobody else has thought.” Research inculcates scientific and inductive thinking and it promotes the development of logical habits. Teachers in any institute have social responsibility to serve students and community with the help of their knowledge and expertise. Our institute and its leadership believe “Our brain has a capacity for learning that is virtually limitless which makes every human a potential genius.” Hence it strives for promotion of research culture and encourages its staffs for research projects, consultancy work, and publications in academic journals and participation in professional programmes.

A committee “Science Square” has been propagating research culture among the students from 2004. Considering the recommendation by NAAC a Research Committee has been formed in June 2009.
